Forza Logistics Group has formalised its carrier verification and fraud prevention work into a single named protocol: Forza Shield™.
Forza Shield is a multi-layer carrier verification and fraud-prevention program that runs before a load is tendered. It brings together technology from Highway, GenLogs, Carrier411, Descartes MacroPoint and E3 Group, and applies carrier identity verification, authority and insurance validation, driver and equipment verification, fraud detection, network intelligence and real-time shipment tracking, with additional controls layered on according to the risk profile of the shipment.

Why a named protocol
Carrier vetting has historically been invisible to the shipper. It happens, or it does not, and the customer finds out which at the worst possible moment. Naming the protocol makes it something a shipper can ask about, compare and hold Forza to. Not every load needs all eight layers. Commodity, declared value, lane and theft exposure decide how deep the verification goes, and the customer knows which controls are on their freight before it is tendered.
