Working with Forza
Quotes, coverage, communication, and your first shipment.
What freight does Forza Logistics Group arrange?
We specialize in refrigerated full truckload and high-value freight. We also arrange dry van, flatbed and open deck, drop trailer, intermodal, and managed transportation. Explore our freight services to find the right fit.
What information do you need for a freight quote?
Start with your pickup and delivery locations, commodity, pickup date, and shipment volume. Include temperature requirements, equipment needs, declared value, and receiver requirements when available.
Is Forza the carrier or the freight broker?
Forza is the freight broker. We arrange transportation with carriers and coordinate your shipment requirements, carrier verification, and communication.
Can you help with recurring freight lanes?
Yes. Tell us your lanes, shipment frequency, equipment needs, and delivery requirements so we can discuss a recurring freight program or managed transportation.
What updates should I expect?
Expect pickup and delivery updates and proactive communication when an exception affects the plan. Confirm shipment-specific reporting and contact arrangements with the team before dispatch.
Where does Forza arrange freight?
Forza provides nationwide freight brokerage, with locations in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Naples, Florida. Share the origin and destination so the team can review your lane.
Can I start with one shipment?
Yes. Give Forza one lane and compare the planning, communication, and execution. There is no long-term commitment or pressure to replace your current providers.
Freight Services
Equipment, operating requirements, and recurring programs.
Refrigerated freight
What information is needed for a reefer quote?
Start with origin, destination, pickup date, commodity, and weight. Include temperature, continuous or cycle run mode, delivery appointments, and special handling requirements when available.
Can Forza arrange recurring refrigerated lanes?
Yes. Share your lanes, weekly volume, seasonality, and receiver requirements so the team can discuss a recurring freight program.
How are temperature requirements handled?
The required set point and run mode are confirmed before dispatch and communicated in writing. Tell us which temperature records and receiver checks your shipment requires.
High-value freight
What makes a shipment high-value?
Declared cargo value is one factor. Commodity, theft exposure, handling needs, and the consequences of disruption also shape the shipment plan. Share those details with the team.
Does carrier verification eliminate theft risk?
No. Verification and shipment controls help manage risk, but they cannot eliminate it. We discuss the controls appropriate to your cargo before dispatch.
What should I provide for a high-value freight quote?
Provide origin, destination, pickup date, commodity, weight, declared value, and equipment needs. Include any pickup verification, seal, route, or delivery requirements.
How does Forza Shield support my shipment?
Forza Shield combines carrier intelligence, identity checks, insurance and authority review, and pickup security procedures. Read the verification protocol for more detail.
Managed transportation
Can we start with only a few lanes?
Yes. A discussion can begin with a small group of recurring or problem lanes. The scope depends on your operation and the service requirements.
What does managed transportation include?
The agreed program may cover planning, carrier sourcing, tendering, tracking, appointments, exception handling, and performance reporting. We define responsibilities with you before work starts.
What should I share for a managed transportation review?
Send origin and destination locations, weekly shipment volume, equipment needs, pickup and delivery windows, and recurring service problems. Include temperature requirements or declared cargo value where relevant.
Dry van freight
What information do you need for a dry van quote?
Send pickup and delivery locations, dates, commodity, total weight, pallet count, and loading or unloading requirements. Include appointment windows and any special trailer requirements.
Is dry van the right equipment for my freight?
Dry van is suited to freight that can travel in an enclosed trailer without refrigeration. Tell us about product sensitivity, dimensions, and loading needs so we can confirm the equipment fit.
Can you arrange recurring lanes and overflow freight?
Yes. Share your normal volume, shipping schedule, and seasonal peaks. We can discuss recurring coverage and additional capacity when your needs change.
Flatbed & open deck
What do you need to quote an open deck shipment?
Provide the origin, destination, pickup date, dimensions, weight, commodity, and declared value. Include photos when available and explain how the freight will be loaded and unloaded.
Which trailer does my shipment need?
Trailer selection depends on dimensions, weight, ground clearance, and site access. We review those details before arranging flatbed, step deck, double drop, or RGN equipment.
How are tarping, securement, and permits addressed?
Tell us your protection and securement requirements when requesting a quote. We coordinate equipment and applicable permit or routing needs with the carrier before dispatch.
Drop trailer programs
Is a drop trailer program right for my operation?
It may fit when loading takes time, volume is recurring, or dock schedules vary. We review your shipping patterns, yard space, equipment needs, and carrier availability before recommending a program.
What determines the size of the trailer pool?
Shipment volume, loading and unloading time, transit time, and equipment return cycles all matter. Share your normal week and peak periods so we can discuss the pool you need.
What information should I include in a drop trailer request?
Include facility locations, loads per week, dock hours, trailer type, yard capacity, expected dwell time, and start date. Note any refrigerated or special handling requirements.
Intermodal
When is intermodal a good fit?
Intermodal can suit longer-haul, repeating lanes with enough schedule flexibility for rail transit. Forza reviews the lane, service, and timing before recommending rail-and-road transportation.
Who coordinates the rail and road portions?
Forza coordinates the move across origin drayage, rail, and destination drayage. The team reviews carrier verification, ramp cutoffs, container status, and pickup and delivery requirements.
What should I discuss before choosing intermodal?
Share the lane, commodity, shipment volume, equipment needs, and pickup and delivery windows. Discuss transit expectations, ramp cutoffs, and possible storage or per diem exposure before booking.
Forza Shield™
Connected verification and shipment-specific protection.
What is Forza Shield?
Forza Shield is Forza Logistics Group’s carrier verification and freight-security protocol. It connects carrier intelligence, authority and insurance review, identity and equipment checks, fraud screening, pickup security, and shipment visibility.
Does every shipment use the same controls?
Carrier verification is part of the process before dispatch. The depth of review and enhanced shipment protections depend on the commodity, declared value, lane, and theft exposure. Our team can explain the controls planned for your freight before tender.
Can you help with high-value or refrigerated freight?
Yes. Forza arranges both. High-value cargo calls for controls matched to declared value and theft exposure. Refrigerated freight also requires equipment qualifications and clear temperature, operating, and receiver instructions. Explore high-value freight or refrigerated freight.
What should I share for a security review?
Start with the origin, destination, commodity, declared cargo value, equipment needs, and pickup window. Include any temperature instructions, pickup restrictions, or receiver requirements so we can discuss the shipment’s specific needs.
Does Forza Shield eliminate freight risk?
No verification process can eliminate every risk. Forza Shield helps reduce exposure through connected checks, shipment-specific controls, and ongoing oversight. It is a security protocol, not an insurance policy or a guarantee against loss.
Carriers
Onboarding, verification, and shipment administration.
How do I become a carrier with Forza?
Contact the carrier team with your company name, MC or USDOT number, dispatcher and business contact details, equipment types, operating regions, regular lanes, and available capacity.
What verification and documentation are required?
The carrier team explains the verification and documentation required before a carrier can be considered for freight. Forza Shield connects carrier intelligence, identity verification, fraud screening, and pickup security. Confirm current requirements directly with the team.
Does an inquiry mean I am approved or guaranteed a load?
No. An inquiry does not constitute carrier approval or guarantee a load. Verification comes before dispatch, and each shipment’s requirements must be confirmed.
Who should I contact about payment terms or an invoice?
Contact the Forza team at 317-397-0057 or info@forzalogisticsgroup.com. Include your company name and load or invoice reference, and confirm the payment terms and required paperwork for your shipment.
