Forza Logistics Group has invested in GenLogs, a nationwide carrier intelligence network, as part of its carrier verification programme.
GenLogs operates a physical sensor network across the United States that observes tractors and trailers in motion. It is the layer that answers a question a document cannot: has this carrier actually been seen, running the equipment it claims to run, on the lanes it claims to run them. Paperwork can be forged. A truck on the interstate cannot.
Why this layer, and why now
Digital fraud now accounts for close to a third of all cargo theft events. The freight is not taken at gunpoint. It is taken by a company that looked correct on paper, using a real carrier’s authority and a phone number it controls, arriving at a dock where nobody had any way to know the difference.
GenLogs monitors roughly 99 percent of active U.S. motor carriers, which makes it a practical cross-check against the federal record rather than a replacement for it.

The regulatory backdrop
The investment was announced days after the Supreme Court decided Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II, which held that federal law does not shield freight brokers from state negligent-hiring claims. Carrier selection stopped being purely an operational question that month and became a liability question as well.
