Forza Logistics Group has brought its freight fraud protection work into one program: Forza Shield™. It combines carrier verification with fraud prevention checks.
Forza Shield checks carriers before Forza tenders a load. It combines technology from Highway, GenLogs, Carrier411, Descartes MacroPoint and E3 Group.
First, the team verifies carrier identity, operating authority and insurance. It also checks drivers and equipment, screens for fraud, and tracks shipments in real time. For higher-risk shipments, Forza adds controls based on the cargo, route and theft exposure.
What freight fraud protection covers
- Carrier identity verification and dispatcher identity confirmation
- Active FMCSA operating authority and insurance validation at the source
- Driver, tractor, trailer and plate verification on freight that warrants it
- Fraud detection for double brokering, domain spoofing and synthetic identities
- Network intelligence confirming the carrier has physically been seen
- Real-time visibility with fraud alerts through delivery
- Enhanced controls on high-value and theft-target freight, agreed before the load moves
Why a named protocol
Carrier vetting has historically been invisible to the shipper. It happens, or it does not, and the customer finds out which at the worst possible moment. Naming the protocol makes it something a shipper can ask about, compare and hold Forza to. Not every load needs all eight layers. Forza chooses checks based on the commodity, declared value, lane and theft exposure. Before the load moves, the customer knows which controls apply.
Forza specialises in refrigerated, high-value, dry van and complex freight, and has collaborated with state and federal law enforcement on cargo theft investigations.
